The National Centre for Food Technology and Safety (CNTA) is a private non-profit Research and Technology Organisation located in San Adrian (Navarre), set up in 1981 at the initiative of the agrifood industry in the Ebro valley.
The main aim of the Centre is to contribute to the development and innovation of the agrifood industry, offering technical support to improve their quality and competitiveness.
CNTA’s expertise is built around three main areas: development of R&D&I projects both individually and in collaboration with Industries, Associations, Academia and Authorities; providing analytical services for compliance with food quality and safety regulations and to the requirements of the agrifood sector; and offering technical support to companies through specialised training and consultancy.
